8 More Tips to Increase Website Conversions

You’re getting traffic to your website! That’s excellent. Now how you convert that traffic into higher sales?

First, you need a professional website. Then, you can work on making small changes to increase your conversion rate and run a more successful business.

Previously, we’ve discussed tips for increasing site conversions. That’s a strong place to start. Here are eight more tips to keep you building to stronger site conversions.

1. Work On Your Headline

Your landing page needs a strong headline. The headline should be in a larger font and designed to draw the eye. Now make the words compelling. Consider sitting down with a timer and brainstorming ten different possibilities. Once you have a list, narrow down to your strongest options. For extra points, test your top two strongest landing pages and use the one with the best results.

2. Use Quality Images

Make sure the graphics on your page give a professional impression of your business. Never think “good enough”, think quality with your web design. This includes product photos.

3. Add Chat To Your Page

Increasing conversions is often about making consumers feel more confident and comfortable doing business with you. This is about building trust with your site visitors. One way to do this is by adding multiple ways to contact you, including a chat tool. Internet users are becoming more comfortable with AI chat bots that can help answer many of their questions, or you can use a tool that will send the messages to you to be answered when you’re available. Whatever option you choose, a chat tool makes you more accessible for many customers. This builds trust.

4. Make The Value Clear

Your product or service is special. Why? What makes your pitch better than the competition? Do you provide better quality? Is your service more convenient than other options available? Is your product more environmentally friendly?

Find your value propositions and make them clear to your customers and part of your brand.

5. Include a Video

Do you have a video showing how to use your product? Or perhaps a testimonial video from a customer? Videos create personal connection between your customers and your brand. This connection builds trust, which increases conversions.

6. Have a Privacy Policy

If you are trying to increase the number of people who sign up for your newsletter, include a link to your privacy policy on the signup form. Always include a link to your privacy policy at the bottom of your website. Privacy is more important to today’s consumers. Help them overcome that concern by providing information on your policy upfront when they might be concerned about it.

7. Include CTAs On Every Content Page

Do you have a content rich website? On every page you have, include a call to action (CTA). When your readers are finished reading your content and feel more informed and confident with the helpful information you’ve provided with your content, give them an easy place to click so they can learn more about your product or services.

8. Track Your Results

The only way you’ll know how you’re doing is so keep data and analyse it. Track your results. Did you change your CTAs? Look at your conversion rate the month before and the month after. How do they compare? Knowing your results as you go will help lead you in the right direction better than anything else you can do.
